My love affair with coffee began aboard the USS George Washington, during my time in the Navy. In the midst of long, exhausting days and nights at sea, a warm sip of that brown, caffeinated comfort became my daily revival, fueling both my body and spirit as we sailed through the Mediterranean.

While visiting the charming towns of Rome, Italy, and coastal Greece, I was captivated by the abundance of small, welcoming coffee shops, each one filled with character, community, and the inviting aroma of freshly brewed coffee. That experience planted a dream in my heart: to one day create a cozy, pet-friendly café of my own, where people from all walks of life could gather to study, socialize, or simply unwind.
